	AFPMeet Utrecht 2.0/ NL 11.0
	  "The First Picture Show"

Rocky Frisco, Mini fan, atmd'er and protector of cats' freedom
everywhere, will be flying from the United States to The Netherlands
towards the end of May. In honour of this event a merry gathering of
afp/atmd'ers will be held. He will also be bringing along some Mini
fans, making this the first combined afp/atmd/MINI meet because the
groups are in Rocky's words "uniquely gifted and likable people."

The place to be: O'Connel's, Jansdam, Utrecht
The date: Saturday, 23 May 1998.
The time: 19:00 onwards, with dinner at about 20:00.

Pre-meet: This is for those who are familiar or unfamiliar with Utrecht
who would like to take the opportunity to take a stroll around. The
meeting point will be under the big blue train timetable board at
Utrecht Central Station at 14:00. There may be a concrete plan of what
we're going to do, or we can just make it up as we go along.
Suggestions, as always, are welcome.

Interest in attending has also been expressed by other furriners,
specifically from England and Germany, so I'd like a show of hands from
all those who can offer crash space..........my goodness, a veritable
forest of hands, I can't see the trees for the forest. Would the
individual trees please make themselves known to me.

Send me an e-mail if you're going to come (even if you sent one in reply
to the first announce) so I can finalise the reservation at O'Connel's.
I'll send directions to those who need them (courtesy of TimT, thanks to
him and Don Alfonso for their suggestions as well.)

The reply stats from the Dutch afp'ers stand as follows (perhaps the
next meet organiser would like to make a note of this...):

10 positive replies,
8 of the 10 replies expressed disappointment that there would be no
Nekkid Wimmin available,
1 person wanted to know if it meant that Leo Breebaart wasn't going to
come,
The last person wanted to know how I was.

I'm fine, thanks.

See you there.

PS: Apologies for the later than promised announce, among other things I
was the victim of a cunning ambush laid by at least two tests and an
essay and am still slightly stunned as a result.
