Hi all,

this is to announce the Den Haag Ice Meet (NL-30, Den Haag 3.0), to be
held on 2000-04-15 in Den Haag.

Pre-part - 'The Ice':
We'll gather at Den Haag CS at about 14:00, in front of the Bruna bookshop.
From there, we'll take the tram to Madurodam to visit the exposition of
Ice sculptures. Costs are appr. 20 guilders (see http://www.madurodam.nl/ for
details). Please note that the exposition is inside, in a cooled
environment (between -10 and -5 degrees Celsius), so make sure you have
warm clothes with you. As far as I can see, there is also a possibility of
borrowing a jumper at Madurodam, but I wouldn't count on that.
After the exposition, depending on the time left, we can also have a look
around at Madurodam itself.

Meet-part - 'The Food':
After the Icy part, we'll go somewhere warm, to be exact to the Irish Pub
O'Caseys at the Noordeinde 140 in Den Haag, ETA 18:00 for those wanting to
join us there. Food will happen there.

Meet-part II - 'The Toys':
Naturally these will happen both during the food part and afterwards.

Post-part - 'The parting':
Those in need of crash space (rsvp if you haven't done so already) will
travel to Leiden by train and bus[1]. I have the suspicion that juggling
may happen the day after - it tends to be unstoppable <g> - so bring your
stuff if interested (but why am I writing this, it'll happen anyway...).

More details needed? Mail me.

Patrick
[1] Or taxi, depending on NS' punctuality <g>.
