                 JENNIFERMEET 4.0 / NETHERLANDS 39.0
The Hague, Saturday 11 November 2000

This is the final reminder and announcement for Saturday's afpmeet in
honour of veteran usafp'er Jennifer Barber's visit to the Netherlands.

There will be no pre-meet this time. Instead, the intention is to
start focusing straightaway on our core competencies, i.e. eating,
drinking, being merry.

- From 17:30 on (that's when they open :-)), everybody is welcome to
join the meet in:

    Grand Restaurant Le Connaisseur
    Dagelijkse Groenmarkt 34-35
    The Hague

where we expect to spend the rest of the evening.

Dinner will be a three-course meal for HFL 26,50 from a limited (but
still quite varied) menu. Vegetarians can bypass the menu and have the
vegetarian dish of the day.

Le Connaisseur is situated in the middle of the The Hague city centre,
opposite the Grote Kerk and the Oude Stadhuis. Two parking garages are
close by. People coming by train can take tram 10 (direction:
Statenkwartier) from Den Haag HS. From Den Haag CS you can take trams
6 (De Uithof), 2 (Kraayenstein), or 3 (Loosduinen). For all four trams
you need get out at the Gravenstraat stop.

If you'd like to come to the Jennifermeet (and haven't already told me
so), please (r)eply to this announcement by Thursday -- the restaurant
has requested that I let them know in advance exactly how many people
they can expect. Crash space is also still available.

See y'all on Saturday,

- --
