Hiya all,

this is to announce that a Midsummersnightmeet will take place in the
Netherlands Leiden area on June 22nd.

So what's the deal?

If the weather is good, we'll venture towards the coast, and settle down
on the beach. I know just the perfect spot ;). We will then have a
picnic[0], have fun with beach games, juggling, and sun bathing[1]. Also,
there will be a 'Build Lancre Sand Castle' Competition. The winner will
receive a small price and eternal fame[2].
As unfortunately a barbecue on the beach will be impossible (due to police
regulations), I would like to ask participants to bring self prepared
snacks[3], ones that will keep in warm conditions[4]. I will take care of
drinks for those that mail me with their preferences - nothing however should
keep you from bringing your own ingredients for the perfect beach cocktail...

If the weather decides not to play along, alternate plans will be made.
The backup plan at the moment is a Plain Old Pub Meet at the North End in
Leiden, but I am welcome to other, more interesting suggestions.

As this meet will ask for some organizing (transport to the beach, drinks,
food), I'd like to ask those willing to attend to please mail me asap,
stating whether you can provide food or transport, what drinks you would
like, and any other comments you deem necessary.

Also, the usual crash space rules apply (need some? mail me. provide some?
mail me.)

Hope to see you June 22nd...
