In response to Christopher Joseph's post "How many AFP ers in
Reading?" - Dunno but the no. of fans not-on-the-net is larger. My
friends operate a scheme where we each take on a newsgroup, extract the
useful bits and pass them on (saves us a bit of time). I got AFP !! (YES!)
So, a Reading meet should include more than just the AFP ers.

How about this Friday At WH Smiths 12.00 ? (For those of you
who'll be in sunny Reading).

I'll announce it at my sports club tomorrow nite. As to a meet at
the end of Grune - fine by me ! Who's got any ideas for a pub we can make
ourselves heard in ?

Ruth (My friends call me Magrat)

p.s. My other half has started playing the DW game - it's a start !
p.p.s. On friday I'll be the annoying one in the purple T-shirt with
specific requirements for signing my copy of Witches Abroad, probably
with the other annoying one who will be smartly dressed (she's got an
interview later) and acts like Granny Weatherwax. Nanny Ogg can't make it
she's working.

Following today's Mini-Meet in Smith's today (all 4 of us!), the
date for the first Reading AFP Meeting is the first Sunday in July (p.m.),
place The Hobgoblin (in Broad Street). Please mail if you have any strong
objections to either this time or place and we'll go with the majority.
Also let us know if you are interested so we can warn the pub about the
numbers beforehand !
			Cheers !

To all interested parties; the date, time and place have now been
agreed by the organisers to be as follows:

On Sunday 9th July 1995 Reading AFP invites you to an afternoon of ale
supping, food tasting and discussion at The Lyndhurst ale house,
Reading (Corner of Watlington Street and Queen's Road). The event will
officially commence at 3.00 pm. AFP and Non-Net fans welcome (anyone
else welcome only if they buy a round of drinks! - bring rich sponsors).
Please feel free to bring any home-made food items and as much
fan material as you can carry in order to maximise the good cheer of
	the event.
Yours, Ruth (Magrat) for Reading AFP.

Any questions, howls of protest etc. to the usual address (Magrat's
Whinge Line @reading.ac.uk) Hope lots of you can make it!

Just a quick re-posting to let all those who don't yet know about
the AFP Reading Meet happening on Sunday 9th July:

Place - The Lyndhurst Ale House
Time - From 3.00 pm onwards
Bring - Anything relevant but esp. home made food!

Food may also be purchased at this Ale house so no need to drink on an
empty stomach (or the consequences of such an action).

For more information, directions to the place, suggestions,
comments etc please mail me. Unlike the students, I don't get to go home at
the end of term!
