OK the following message was intended to go out on afpa in time for this
Thursday - but since that's tomorrow and there's been no sign of it as
yet (either the feed here is useless (quite possible) or summink else
happened to it en route) I thought I'd mention it here too:

The plan is now:
4-5 - Blackwells
5-when we're fed up - G&D's
then-closing time - The Turf Tavern
after closing time - possibly my place

As some of you may already know a certain bald bloke is intending to be in
a bookshop in Oxford on the 13th of February defacing lots of people's
books (and for some reason we want him to:-)

Takeing this fact into account, a few of the Oxford afper's have decided
that it might be a good idea to go and see him maybe, and then to go off
to G&D's for icecream and other such delights.

The signing is taking place from 4pm to 5pm in Blackwells' Children's
bookshop on Broad Street, anyone who wants to join us is welcome to try
meet us there (I don't know how busy it will be) or at G&D's on Little
Clarendon Street.

Since at least two of us are intending to go to the Reading/Wokingham meet
the following evening there is a possibilty that crash space can be
provided for any who want to go to both meets. If you *do* want crash
space, let me know, otherwise feel free to just turn up :-)

It seems unlikely at this stage that banananana dakry icecream (as
petitioned for at the last Oxford afpmeet) will be available but we're
working on it:-)
