Hi folks,
Me and Tap were thinking that since we're only a few miles down the road
from Woolpit it kinda makes sense to have an afpmeet here in Ipswich on
Friday 8th August.
Basically, this would involve going to some local hostellry and drinking
some beer then letting youse guys use Spring Roll as crash space before
a mass trek to Woolpit on the Saturday.
Please let me know if you're interested. (I would suggest meeting at
the Plough cos it does good beer and is nice, however the Fat Cat is
nearer and does even better beer but it's quite titchy so if there ain't
too many of us that might be a better option)

Hi folks,
Just a reminder for all those who have forgotten, but the ever-wonderful
Carol Willis has arranged a meet for the Night before Clarecraft.
This meet takes place at The Plough Public House, Dogs Head Street,
Ipswich, on Friday 8 August 1997. It begins at around 7.30pm, and we
have a room set aside for our use, so we should be able to be seated
easily.
If anybody is wanting to come along, please get in touch with either
myself or Carol <carol@lspace.org>. There is limited accomodation
available, purely on a first-come first-served basis.
Directions to the meet have been placed on the web, on Darrell's
afpmeets page <http://www.toreador.demon.co.uk/afpmeet/ipswich.html>,
and those of a nervous disposition can contact us for further details.
Hopefully we can get to meet quite a lot of you before the main CC
event. Already we have interest from a number of people, but we want
more. Mwahahahahaha!!!!!

Just looked at the directions for getting to the Plough and it has
dawned on me that anyone planning on staying here overnight, would
probably prefer to leave their vehicles somewhere nearer to Spring Roll
and not in the town centre - if this applies to you please e-mail me,
telling me which road you will approaching Ipswich from and I will try
to help (or get Tap to, cos he's better at that sort of thing than me).
So far we have crash space reserved for three people and room for quite
a few more. If you definitely want somewhere to sleep let me know as
soon as poss so I know how much of the house I have to get tidy.
Incidentally, me & Tap will be at home pretty much all day, so feel free
to turn up early and help clear enough floorspace / start partying....
