Hi folks,

It looks like we have enough people intersted to qualify for the group
discounts at cadburyworld on May 9th.

If you want tickets but haven't yet let me know, please can you do so as
soon as possible as I will be sending off the deposit in the next week
or so - if you have already told me you are interested, you should have
been emailed a copy of this message with some other details added - if
you haven't got it and think you should have done please contact me.

I am planning on booking the tour for the early afternoon - around 1pm.
The tour lasts approx 2hours 30minutes so that should leave plenty of
travelling time for anyone that needs it. I thought it might be nice to
find somewhere close where we could meet up over lunch before heading
off to chocolate heaven.... details will be sent to those who request
tickets.

Please remember that is a ticket only trip, it won't be possible to turn
up on the day. Tickets are 5ukp per adult and 3.50ukp per child
provided we have enough people to class as a group.

More indepth details of cadburyworld can be found on their web site
which also includes some excellent sounding recipes for cooking with
chocolate <http://www.cadbury.co.uk/>

Attention Chocoholics...... the deadline rapidly approaches

As has been previously stated, the #afpfamily will be visting
CadburyWorld on Saturday May 9th 1997. CadburyWorld being located in
Bournville which is sort of Birmingham only a bit more civilised....

At present the confirmed family group consists of:

Me, Tap & 3 Kids
Hamster, Kayla & 2 Kids
Dragon
Suzi & 1 Kid^w Gid
Angua & 1 Kid
Tim Bagot & 5 other big kids
Darran & Nicky

That makes 17 adults and 6 Kids which is more than enough to get the
group discount (ie 5quid for adults 3.50 for kids). I will be booking
the tickets when I get back to work on Monday, so if you want to be
added to or removed from the list you have a few days to tell me.

The aim is still to book for a 1pm tour and meet up beforehand over
lunch somewhere - although I vaguely remember mummblings about
connecting this to the Watford meet.... if this is happening could
someone tell me please so I can adapt the plans accordingly....

Please email any replies to me so I don't miss them

Thanks
Carol

Yes that's right - I am indeed still going on about the planned
afp-family excursion to cadbury World on May 9th but don't worry, It'll
soon be over now so all you'll have to put up with then is the meet
reports and quote files....

In fact it's now just two weeks away, so if you want to join us tell me
*now*!

I've just mailed out the final details to everyone on my list for this
event - a grand total of 32 adults, 8 kids and 3 toddlers, so if you
haven't received an email from me, the chances are you are not on the
list - if you think you should be let me know NOW!

If you've been living on another planet for the past few months and had
failed to notice this being planned, you can still join us, full details
of what to expect can be found at http://www.cadbury.co.uk/ - however I
can answer the most important questions now - Yes, you do get to eat
lots of chocolate! and it costs a mere five pounds per adult and three
pounds fifty per child and it's located in bournville - which is very
nearly Birmingham but with a purple railway station.
