I didn't take many photographs at CCDE, partly due to the batteries
vanishing from my camera. :-( I've put four of the ones I did take
into my afpmeet picture archive -- just follow the link from my web page.

I also have a few photographs from the shavathon; what's the status
regarding putting those up on the Web?

This was going to be attached to one of the existing threads, but they
have gone rapidly [I].

I'd like to say thanks to those people who made the biggest meet I've
attended so far really great.

Believe it or not, I'm actually quite shy with people I don't know.
Going to afp-meets has helped me with this and what would have scared me
silly a couple of years ago has become very enjoyable ( even getting up
on stage during the Masquerade! )

Special thanks to the following :-

Adrian Hurt for letting me join in with the rocket firing.

Carol for allowing me to help her and have as much fun as the kids.

The kids for putting up with my ham-fistedness when trying to help them.
:-)

Elton for arranging such a fantastic weekend.

Pterry for giving us the excuse for it!

Couple of things before I run away again.

The best comment I heard all weekend was someone describing Carols
daughter Vicky as '10 going on 35'! I think this really does sum her up.
:-))

Finally, a word of warning. Given that the afp treatment seems to be
working, I _will_ be at Millenicon, so beware!
(Hopefully my Masquerade piece will be _much_ less embarrassing! )

Again, thanks to all,
Mart.

Shotgun-afpengaged to Carol. Regularly embarrassed by Vicky :-)
Kept under control by the wonderfully mysterious Naomi X and the superlative
Supermouse.

Adrian Hurt's and Elaine Simons' (co. & Ponder Stibbons) CCDE pictures
are now up on the Web; linked to and (temporarily) hosted by my
afpmeet photoarchive, respectively.

Could the powers-that-be please let me know whether it's okay to make
the shavathon pictures publically accessible without having to pay
more money to charity. (I'm skint now!)

I'm getting authorisation failure on trying to post this to afpa, both
by news and by email. Could the moderator please forward this when it
reaches him?
