Right. Time for another meet, methinks.

Date: 20th November 1999

Time: 6 pm until whenever.

Venue: Upstairs in the CASTLE pub, on CASTLE STREET, Cambs. (There is
another Castle pub opposite Emmanuel, but Don't Go There)

There are two curry places just opposite the Castle, so food will happen
afterwards, I imagine.

http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/leisure/mapblack.htm

.... is a map of central Cambs with parking places and Castle Street
clearly marked. The Castle pub itself is on the right as you go up the
hill, just before Castle mound.

http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~dlg10/pubs/

.... is a labour of love -- a guide to *all* Cambs pubs. Combining this
map with the above should get you to the Castle *very* easily.

Crashspace will be limited --

Ben Argyle <Ben@lspace.org> may have some, but lives quite a way out
from the centre, thus will probably require taxi travel, depending how
drunk and/or energetic people are feeling...

Ben Hutchings <womble@zzumbouk.demon.co.uk> should also have some
space, and lives quite close to the Castle...

I <pjie2@cam.ac.uk> have room for up to two, as long as you like
sharing floors in a single room...

See you there!

Peter

For those who can get to Cambridge rather before the beginning of
Peter's plans (6 pm), I'd like to suggest the following arrangements:

Date: 20th November 1999

Time: 12:30 pm until 6 pm

Venue: The Ancient Druids, then Warner Village cinema

I'll repeat the reference Peter made to the map of Cambridge:

  http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/leisure/mapblack.htm

The Ancient Druids is near the Grafton Centre, which is marked on the
map. You can see its location circled on this more detailed map:

  http://www.zzumbouk.demon.co.uk/ancient-druids.jpg

I think I am correct in remembering that this pub serves lunch, but if
anyone knows differently please tell me!

I still don't know which films will be showing that afternoon, as the
cinema doesn't seem to like giving out advance information and their
web site is broken. Based on this week's listing, I expect that at
least two of American Pie, Fight Club, and The Sixth Sense will be
showing at about the right time.
