January 30, 1992 witnessed the birth of a very unearthly child

To marrk the tenth birthday, the mending hippo is holding a party
on Saturday February 2, from 12:00 onwards, at his house in Sheffield.

Themes includes cakes, chocolate, cuddly toys and singing, and possibly
custard.

The hippo has followed the growth of this strange creature since its very
earliest years and thinks that, despite his smashed kneecap. regretably
sustained at a previous pre-meet he should endeavour to mark the occasion.

Decorating the zimmer might take place.

Also, despite the state of the hippo house, hastily rearranged to accomodate the
auditioning Long John Silver (what parrot ?), a limited amount of crash space
is still available.

All are very welcome : as are offers of assistance to make the party go with
a swing. Indeed, some of us have already gone out on a limb in a good cause ;-)

Please contact me by e-mail or on irc for directions, phone numbers
and so forth
