I'm not associated with this theatre company in anyway, but I was very impressed by their outdoor production of _A Midsummer Night's Dream' last year and can't wait to see what they do with L&L.

'So it should be done here, in the open air. Open to the sky and the hills.'

The London Bubble returns to London's parks in the summer of '99.

Following hot on the trail of last summer's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, we are presenting an outdoor promenade or 'walkabout' version of TERRY PRATCHETT'S 'Dream' related novel LORDS AND LADIES.

Follow a cast of witches, wizards and elves around the park from set to set and delve deep into Pratchett's fantastical Discworld. The show has been adapted and directed by Bubble Artistic Director Jonathan Petherbridge - soon to celebrate his tenth anniversary with the company - - and features an eclectic score by Thomas Johnson. We think that Pratchett's playful Discworld will find its natural home in the parks after dark.

The tour will find its way to Valentine's Park, Ilford: Greenwich Park; Chiswick House Grounds; Oxleas Woods; Dulwich Park and Beckenham Place Park near Bromley - a new venue for the company, part of the Green Chain Walk and featuring beautiful, open woods and parkland.

Following a successful lottery bid, we are looking forward to unveiling some exciting new equipment - including something that you might just see hovering above a park near you.

Alongside the evening performances we will once again be running afternoon children's workshops. SHAKE, BLOW AND PLAY is a workshop for new theatre-goers aged 3 to 6 where the children watch a story, then make a musical instrument and play accompaniment to the story they've seen.

Bookings can be made by Credit Card or Switch when you telephone our box office on 0171 2371663 between 10am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

We look forward to seeing you in the parks and the woods.
