The L-Space Web : Plays : Maskerade : 2009

December - London

The Tower Theatre Company presents Maskerade.

The Ankh-Morpork Opera house has always had a ghost, but it never used to kill people. Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg, the inquisitive, indomitable (and some would say downright rude) witches of Lancre, find a way to get involved and unravel the mystery, whether the new owner wants them to or not…

Think Phantom of the Opera with extra mayhem, skulduggery and a befuddled former cheese merchant.

Maskerade is Terry Pratchett's affectionate parody of this famous story set in his own fantasy world of the Discworld, and artfully adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs.
