"Death comes to us all. When he came to Mort, he offered him a job."

Unseen Theatre Company's award-winning inaugural production is back by popular demand! In 2000, "Mort" won both critical acclaim and the Light Year Award for Best Costumes. Director Pamela Munt decided on a return season as a direct result of the insistence of Unseen's fans.

In this story the "Grim Reaper", finds what he thinks is the perfect apprentice in the shape of Mort. Unfortunately Mort is a romantic. He cannot bear to harvest the soul of Princess Keli. Through his naivety, he manages to alter the whole balance of time and reality. His appeals to wizards, talking doorknockers and even to Death's daughter Ysabell avail him nothing. Death himself must return from his 'day off' and step into the breach to save the Discworld...

"Mort" will be shown at the Bakehouse Theatre, 255 Angas Street, Adelaide from October 15 to November 1 from Wednesday to Saturday evenings at 8.00pm.
