With apologies to Tennyson[1]... my lightheared tribute to the AFPLarters...

"The Charge of the LART Brigade"

Half a day half a day
Half a day onward
Into the thick of the posts
Rode the AFPLarters:
'Forward the LART Brigade
Charge for the rats' they said
Into the thick of the posts
Came the AFPLarters.
'Forward the LART Brigade!'
Was there a clue diplay'd?
Not that the group could see;
Someone had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do & die,
Into the thick of the posts
Came the AFPLarters.
Lusers to right of them,
Lusers to left of them,
Lusers in front of them
Blustered and Blundered;
AFPLarters, or so they tell,
Boldly they wrote, and well,
Chasing the lusers low
Into the mouth of Hell
Came the AFPLarters.
When will their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All of AFP wonder'd.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the LART Brigade,
Noble AFPLarters!
