The answer, so it looks like, is no.

The poem was done in, as I say, a short amount of time. *then* I tried to turn it into a filk. Here are some of the results:

The Monty Python Section:

<Decomposing Composers>

A f p is, quite a hell of a group,
with threads and useless postings galore,
we have to download loads'o postings a day
maybe 50 or a hundred or more

Filtering art-i-cles is the only way
that some of us can remain sane
(And note that a poster who doesn't
has aquarion as his name)

So we have systems of Tagging,
Where we can see what we want to read
Those letters incased in square brackets
Are really something that you should heed

<Sit on my face>

Tag all your posts!
so that we can all see them
I'll tag all my posts so that you can see them too
To if "The fifth Elephant"
remains just as relevant
as it was yesterday!

<The Not Noel Coward Song>

Isn't it awfully nice to have a [I] here?
Isn't it frightfully good to have an [M]?
It's swell to start an [R] thread
It's divine to play the [G]ames
From the importance of [Announces]
To the knowledge the [FAQ]'s gain!

A.f.p is a, a very large place.
With lots of postings thrown into your face.
Peeps have to filter, so that they can keep pace.

That's why, That's why the tagging is a must

All of the threads that, are about all the Books,
They all have [R] tags, for the relevant kooks,
All of the [I] posts, have Irrelevant looks.
That's why, That's why the tagging is a must.

We have the games, which, are marked with a [G]

<You can fly - Disney>

You just have to tag all your posts
(Really all of my posts)
Uh-huh
(An [F] on fandom? Meets? Sites?)
Yah, Watch me now, here we go
It's easier than Windows
You can Tag! You can Tag! You can Tag!

<Our House - Madness>

Threads that are about the books,
always have an [R] tag on so we can tell what is on in them.

they're called Meta Threads

<Fraggle Rock>

Tag your posts all day,
[R] threads for the relevant way.
