The Colour of Magic by Delta 4 Software Amstrad CPC version - .DSK format Emulators for various platforms can be found at http://andercheran.aiind.upv.es/~amstrad/ Most (if not all) of them should accept the .DSK format, since the programmers have established it as some kind of standard among each other. To start the game, simply type run "disc and press return. At the beginning of parts 2 to 4, you are requested to load a saved game from the previous part. I already prepared them for you, the files are called save2, save3 and save4. There were three forms of the Amstrad CPC (not counting the "plus" models): The 464 (with cassette drive and 64K memory), the 664 (with disk drive and 64K memory) and the 6128 (with a whopping 128K memory - stop grinning.) Although most emulators simulate the 6128 by default, you should change the setting to emulate a 664, or the game may crash at the very end of part 4. Oh, yes, one more thing: In the version I downloaded from ftp.nvg.unit.no, the title screen was missing, so I replaced it with the A'Tuin graphic from the intro of Discworld 1 (PC CD-ROM) and added a little menu. Have fun!
