OK...so it's barely enough to be a proper filk...but I just woke 
up with most of it already done whilst I was asleep...so

Alchemy, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now  it looks as though they're here to stay
oh I believe in alchemy...

Suddenly I'm not half the man I used to be
And there's no ceiling hanging over me
oh alchemy happens suddenly

Why it had to blow I don't know, I couldn't say
I did something wrong now the Guild is blown away

Alchemy, It was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away,
