To save the map, right click on it and select "save as" (it'll be quicker if you allow it to fully download first as you'll then be looking at the cache copy).

Left clicking on the map will load the map directly - and then you can click "save as" from the file menu. Again it's best to allow the download first for the same reasons.

Alternatively you could just look at your cache when you go offline!
