Mikey made the following comment whilst submitting orders:
Well murky, this will test the german french alliance a bit. I am not sure what hippie is up to this move. He has been awfully quiet of late. He said he would be busy and I have had several email client programs since we last spoke so I cannot be sure what he plans. I hope he will at least cut the support of milan, allowing me to take it this spring. I think I have picked the correct set of orders this time - only hippie can cut my support of the attack into milan and if he cuts the support of venice - all should be well.

My Gol fleet is heading for WME to

  1. Cut off any suicide attack by the Tyr fleet - he could be attempting to scupper my Iberian conquest.

    and

  2. Threaten Tunisia if the italian (as i think he will) forces his way into Gol

John may expect me to be defensive & support the status quo from Marseille - I really have no idea what he will do. He usually manages to find the one move that will save his butt (and I usually miss it) he may even duck back to Tus from Lig and bounce me with Tyr - I dont know but it might be his best defence. We shall see.

In spain my units are the wrong way round to finish the spaniard off this year. I would like the Sve & Por units to be swapped if you could arrange a mapping error!! <kidding>

I could have moved my Mad army into the fray but the move of Sve to Gib means that I can attack both the other land areas (Sve & And) from three areas and guarantees death for one of his units. As And - Sve is the only attacking move he can make, I expect this to be what he does.

When supplying orders for the Spring phase, Ross Comments:
The basic plan is to convince Piers that I'm on his side so that I can get him to move some of his units away from my threat. Whether he'll buy it or not I don't know, <GM>I have a strong suspicion that he won't. He stands a good chance of destroying the unit in Donbas, and this effectively banishes Ross to the North, with only Georgia as a southern outpost. Especially with Ross's current orderset, which is ill advised IMO</GM> and how the hell he knew I'd vacate Rostov last turn I will never know. The b*****d is psychic I swear it. <GM>He's psychic.</GM>

These moves are perhaps what might be termed suboptimal for the situation... I guess all I can do is hope and trust my gamble worked..

A positive adjust number means that builds are due, a negative number means that units are to be removed. Note, builds do not have to be taken, they can be waived - please send a waive order to the GM if you wish to do this.

Also detailed are the number of SC's required to win (the win condition is 33 SC's).
