A: Get the magnet from the High Energy Facility in the University. Use it to get the boots from the imp in the University garden. Talk to Mrs Cake, get her to make sense , look at the bottle, and ask her about the bottle. Go to the Fools Guild, get the brick, and talk to the Fool. Use the brick on the Fool. Use the brick on the accelerator in the High Energy Facility. Give the Ectoplasm to Mrs Cake. Use the boots on the bottle, and use the bottle on Foul Ole Ron's smell.
Problem: How do I get the sticks?
Go to the travelling shop, and get the stuffed fish and the flamingo. Get the knife from the mortuary. Go to the docks. Use the knife on the net, and get the hammerhead shark. Use the stuffed fish on the seabird, and pick up the dead bird. Go to the University gardens, where the wizards are, and use the flamingo on the Dean, the shark on the Bursar, and the seabird on the Librarian.
Problem: How do I get the mouse blood?
A: Go to Gimlets - the entrance is at the far right of the shades. Use the menu, and then click on Gimlet to bring him over. Talk to Gimlet until he mentions a mouse-burger and a mouse-burger icon appears in the talk window. Click on it. Get the vampire's fangs, and use them on the mouse. Take the test-tube from Hex in the High Energy Building, and use it on the fangs.
Problem: How do I get the candles?
Look at the candles in the travelling shop, and try to take them. Talk to the owner of the shop, and ask her about the candles. Get the dribbly beeswax , and give it to her. She'll give you the dribbly candles.
Problem: How do I get Mrs Cake to make sense?
A: Talk to her, using the following icons in this order - Sarcastic icon, Question icon, Thought icon, Smile icon. You can now talk to her normally.
Problem: How do I get the ladder from Casanunda?
A: Go to the mortuary and look at the witch on the slab. Talk to Casanunda, till the ladder icon appears. Click on the ladder icon, and then click on the witch icon to tell him about Granny Weatherwax. He'll give you the ladder.
Problem: How do I get the vampire's fangs?
A: Get the ladder from Casanunda. Go to the plaza and talk to Dibbler till he mentions corn, and a corn icon appears. Click on the corn icon to get him to sell you some corn. Go to the Trolls Head pub in the Shades, and order a drink from the troll. Use the drink on the corn. Go to the Unseen University gardens and use the corn on the rooster. Go to the Shades, near the beggars, and use the rooster on the coffee pot. Go to the Trolls Head pub, and use the sobered up rooster on the vampire. Go to the cemetery, into the crypt, and use the ladder on the coffin. Get the teeth from the glass.
Problem: How do I make dribbly beeswax?
A: Talk to Dibbler, and he'll give you a booklet on making clickies. Go to Mrs Cakes, and get the petticoat from the dummy. Go to the travelling shop, and get the incense. Get the matches from the Trolls Head pub. Go to Gimlets, and get the chilli powder. Go to the beehives, and talk to the beekeeper. Give him the clickie booklet. Use the chilli powder on the flowers. Stand near the beehive, and use the petticoat on Rincewind. Use the matches in the incense, and use the burning incense on the beehive. Click on the beehive to get the dribbly wax.
ACT II: Come Die With Me
Problem: How do I get to XXXX?
The only way to XXXX is to hitch a ride on the dead ship. You'll have to prove you're dead, by getting a death certificate which you can then give to the dead collector, who will get you on the ship.
Problem: How do I get a death certificate?
A: Talk to the dead collector, and then go to the mortuary and talk to the mortician about the death certificate.
Problem: How do I prove Rincewind's dead?
A: Go to the Shades, and take the saw from near the beggars. Go to Mrs Cakes', and use the saw to cut the arm off the dummy. Go to the cemetery and get the pick axe. Go down the hole at the Fool's guild, and climb up into the Pork Futures Warehouse. Use the pick axe to chip some ice off the pile. Go to the mortuary, before the ice melts. Pick up the mirror, and use it on the Bunsen burner. Put it back down on the table. Click on the slab. Use the ice on Rincewind. Use the dummy arm on Rincewind. Click on the mortician, who will certify that you're dead and give you a death certificate.
Problem: How do I get a novelty for the clickie?
A: Go to Holywood, and get the heavy one ton weight. Get the sticky number from the mail box. Go to the docks. Use the sticky number on the heavy weight. Use the weight on the hook. Click on the weight to damage the warehouse, and pick up the novelty.
Problem: How do I get a babe for the clickie?
A: Go to the far right of Holywood and try to open the trailer door. Talk to the troll till he gives you the key. Use the key to unlock the door, and go through. Talk to the girl till she tells you she wants a diamond. Go to Djelibeybi, and talk to the candy rock seller about the candy rock. When the women have taken the candy, go to the stoning area and take the pole. Go to the Unseen University garden, and use the pole on the compost heap. Pick up the pole when the suffrajester's tied herself to it. Go back to the stoning area and use the suffrajester on the hole in the ground. When the scene's finished, take the candy rock and the rope. Go back to the Holywood troll. Use the candy rock on the troll. Close the door. Use the rope on the door. Use the rope on the troll. Get the tooth, and give it to the milkmaid, who'll come with you.
Problem: How do I get a Jingle?
A: Go to Djelibeybi and talk to Uri Djeller about the jingle. A new location will appear on the map. Leave Djeylibebyi and head off to the cartwheel - the new location, and ask St Ungulant about the jingle. He'll ask you for the answer to the question 'why?'. To find him an answer you need to fix Hex and get it working a little faster. Once you have the answer, use the scrap of paper containing the answer on him.
Problem: How do I get Death out of make-up?
A: Go to Holywood and head through the back entrance to the make-up room. The entrance is the gap just to the next of the piano. Listen to find out that the make-up girl needs a picture of the Elven Queen to make-up Death. So you'll have to get one.
Problem: How do I get Hex working again?
A: Go to XXXX and look at the baskets, then speak to Point-me-own-bone and ask him about the picnic baskets. Go to the Unseen University dining hall, and use the basket on the food. Go back to XXXX and head to the right of Bonedie Beach, go further right until you reach the ridge. Use the full picnic basket on the anthill. Go to the Shades in Ankh-Morpork, and take the pot from near the beggars. Go to the Unseen University garden, over to the beehives, using the incense and the petticoat to placate the bees. Use the pot on the beehives to get some honey. Pick up the croquet hoops, and go to Djelibeybi. Go into the architect's office and get the plans from the wall. Go to Uri Djeller and give him the hoops. He'll unbend them into straight bits of wire. Use the bits of wire on the pyramid plans to make a mini pyramid. Go to the UU High Energy Building, and use the picnic basket full of ants on Hex. Use the honey on Hex, and then use the pyramid on Hex. Talk to Skag, the bloke standing to the left of Hex, and ask him about St Ungulant's question. Take the answer back to St Ungulant.
Problem: Where do I get a band to play the Jingle?
A: Go to the hill in the desert, and talk to Bone Idle, the skeleton in the middle, about the jingle. Then use the knife on him to cut the skeletons down, who'll join you.
Problem: How do I find the Elven Circle?
A: Make sure you've visited Djelibeybi, and encountered the women at the entrance to the city. Then go back to Ankh-Morpork and go into the mortuary in the Shades. Talk to Casanunda who will then head off in search of the 'temptresses' of Djelibeybi. Ask Granny Weatherwax the witch about Elves, and the Elven Circle will appear on the map.
Problem: How do I get to see the Elven Queen?
A: Go to Mrs Cakes, and get the scissors from the table. Go to the Pyramid in the desert, and use the scissors on the mummy's bandage. Pick up the glue. Use the bandage that you've cut off on the dummy's arm. Go to the oasis and use the bandaged dummy's arm on the real arm. Double click on the real arm in your inventory to get the ring. Go to Holywood and go into the costume room. Look at the horse costume and talk to the dwarf about the horse costume. Give the ring to the dwarf. Go back to Ankh-Morpork. Go to the wrecked fools guild and pick up the horn. Use the glue on the horn, and use the horn on the horse costume to turn it into a unicorn costume. Go to the Unseen University dining hall, and talk to the librarian about the costume. He'll come with you. Go to the Elven Circle. The Luggage can't come through with you, so use the Librarian on the unicorn costume and put it in Rincewind's inventory. Go through the stones and use the Unicorn costume on Rincewind. Now all you have to do is get a snap of the Elven Queen.
Problem: How do I take a picture of the Elven Queen?
A: If you haven't already got a boomerang, go to XXXX and look at the boomerangs. Talk to Point-me-own-bone and he'll give you a boomerang. Go to the scenery painting area, and get the camera. Talk to the imp trainer about getting an imp. The imp will do a runner and hide in the scenery, so use the boomerang on the paint, and then use the boomerang on the imp in the scenery. Use the imp on the camera, and go to see the Elven Queen. Then use the camera on her.
Problem: Where do I find a stunt double for Death?
A: Go to the door at the very left of the Shades, up the steps, and use the death certificate on the door to get them to let you in. Once inside, open the wardrobe door and talk to the sheep about standing in for Death.
Problem: How do I get the double to co-operate?
A: Go to Mrs Cakes and get the ironing board from the wardrobe. Go further along the Shades and take the saw from near the beggars. Use the saw on the ironing board. Use the glue on the ironing board. Go to the beach in XXXX land and use the board on the surf. Use the camera on the cave paintings in the cave, and leave. Go back to the sheep, and give it the photos of the cave paintings.
Problem: How do I get people to like the clickie?
A: Take the reel off the camera, and use it on the splicing machine to the left of Rincewind. Use the spare Elven Queen photos on the splicing machine.
ACT III: The Grim Rincewind
Problem: How do I get to be Death?
A: Go into Death's house, and find Albert in the kitchen. Talk to him. You'll need a booming voice, a black robe, horsemanship, and skill in using the scythe.
Problem: How do I get a booming voice?
A: Get the rope from the stables. Use the rope on the boomerang. Go into the kitchen and open the stove door. Go back outside. Use the rope and boomerang on the chimney of Death's house. Once on the roof, use the chimney.
Problem: How do I get a black robe?
A: Get the curtains from the hallway. Go upstairs into the hourglass room and take the ink from the desk. Go into the garden and use the ink on the pond. Use the robe on the pond.
Problem: How do I prove I can ride Binky?
A: Get the sugar cubes by pulling the cord upstairs and running back downstairs, and taking them from the kitchen in Albert's absence. Go to the stables and give them to Binky. Use the glue on the saddle. Use the saddle. Use Binky.
Problem: How do I prove I can use the scythe?
A: Get the scythe from the elephant's foot stand, and get the toy cart from Susan by giving her something to read. Show the scythe to Albert. Use the scythe on the cart, and use the cart on the corn to the far right of Death's realm.
Problem: Where do I get Susan something to read?
A: Talk to Susan about the cart, then go to the library on the ground floor of the house. There are three floating books being written, and Susan wants the one in the middle, so take it and bring it back to Susan. Now she wants another book. Go back to Death's house, and use the doormat, to get a key. Get rid of the bees. Click on the hive to get some wax. Double click on the wax to make a candle. Go to the library, and use the key on the alcove to unlock it. Use the matches to light the candle and put it in Rincewind's inventory. Go into the alcove. Use the candle on Rincewind, and take the tablet with pictures. Give it to Susan.
Problem: How do I collect a hundred souls?
A: Deal with the bees in the garden , and use the sugar bowl on the hive to get honey. Get the fishing rod from the gnome, and use the rod on the honey pot. Use the rod and pot on the ant souls you can see just to the right of the pond, in the void.
Problem: How do I keep the bees out of the way?
A: Go into the kitchen and take the oily rag. Go upstairs into Susan's room and take the bunny. Double click on the bunny to get the pyjamas. Go into the garden, next to the beehive. Use the matches on the oily rag. Use the pyjamas on Rincewind's head. Use the burning rag on the hive.
ACT IV: Till Death Do Us Part
Problem: How do I refill Death's hourglass?
A: Talk to Uri Djeller, who'll tell you about the Fountain of Youth. That's where you need to go. He'll also tell you that there's a prospector who knows where it is. You need to follow the prospector somehow.
Problem: How do I find out where the prospector goes?
A: Wait till he arrives, and click on his camel's saddlebag, to get the canteen. Use the rotten arm on the camel. The vultures will lead you to the fountain.
Problem: What do I do at the Fountain of Youth?
A: If you don't have it already, go to Bonestock and pick up a cork from the stage. Take it back to the Fountain, and use it on the Fountain itself. Use the hourglass on the sand.
EPILOGUE: Queen Kong
Problem: How do I deal with the giant Elven Queen?
A: Look at the raven. Talk to Granny Weatherwax about the Raven. Get the broomstick. Talk to Dibbler. Talk to him about bladders. Put the bladders in Rincewind's inventory. Use the broom on the tower. Well done - you've finished the game.
