Well there has been enough interest in afternoon idleness before the 
meet proper for me to propose gathering earlier in Regents Park which is 
nearest large open space to the Green Man.

As I remember the bit between the back of the open air theatre and the 
boating lake is quite nice, and has loos nearby for emergency dashes 
with toddlers etc.

There are kiosks for drinks and ice creams etc or you could bring picnic 
stuff if you feel so inclined.  What I'm proposing is primarily meeting 
up and sitting under a tree with ice cream in a supervisory and 
conversational capacity (a role I anticipate sharing, could be a busy 
tree:) whilst the energetic souls can impress us with juggling, ball 
games, frisbees, boating, fencing or any other ideas you lot can come up 
with.

So...

on with the ideas please - suggestions of activities, offers of 
demonstration sports...suitable for a public place...

I'm looking into wet weather venues nearby, Just In Case,  which don't 
cost a second mortgage to go into for an afternoon. Any suggestions 
gratefully received.
