Subject: [I] Who's Next? (my own version)
Following the thread on the subject, I have decided *not* to post Rory Bremner's version of Tom Lerher's "Who's Next?" on the group. If you missed the thread, it went like this:
First I heard the song, and thought it was good,
I thought of posting, and asked if I should,
Then Torak posted just to say,
In his legal opinion it should be OK.Who's next?
Michael Gilbert offered links,
No contact address there, methinks.
Stainless Steel Cat joined in as well,
No help, but a great Joyce Grenfell!Who's next?
Rhiannon started a new thread,
"Could someone post this song?" she said.
I told her, without being rude,
I wasn't sure I'd not get sued!Who's next?
The legal question's still a pester,
"Torak got it wrong" says Jester.
Up speaks Rhiannon,
Saying to carry on,
Even if it shouldn't be there,
The chances are, the owners just won't care!Who's next?
I've decided not to take the chance,
And just e-mailed to all that asked.
