Well, here's an attempt. Be gentle, it's my first time :o)

It's sort of about both Death and Susan.

Like A Bat Out Of Hell

The women are screaming and the men are a-howling
Way down in the city tonight
There's a man in the shadows with a gleam in his eye
Guitar shining oh so bright
There's music in the air and there's thunder in sky,
And a REAPER on the cobbled streets
Oh away in the school-dorm where the deathling is rising,
Oh she swears she saw a small mouse down by the window,
He was squeaking to get on her feet.

Oh baby he's the only thing in this whole world
That's pure and always here.
And wherever you are and wherever you go,
The tunnel's gonna have some light.
But he's gotta get out,
she's gotta ride it out now,
Before the final crack of dawn.
So they've gotta make the most of their short time together
When it's over you know
They'll both be so alone

Like a bat out of hell
He'll be going for the final chord
When the night is over
Like a bat out of hell
He'll be there there there
Like a bat out of hell
He'll be going for the final chord
But when the deed is done and the soul is gone,
And the moonlight's shining through,
Then like a doorman before the gates of the after
She will do the Duty no more

He's gonna hit the high way like a battering ram,
On a white, black and bony bike.
When the wires are hot and the engine is magic,
And it's all wound 'round with bright blue light
Nothing's ever lost in his shiny old skull
Everything's remembered, all there.
The music really rocks
the music really rolls
That guitar is never worth the cost

And he knows that he's Death if he never forgets,
And maybe he's Death if he does,
But with every other beat in his granddaughters heart,
He knows there are things he must do.
If he's gotta be Death he knows he'd rather forget,
What hearts of humans can feel
If he's gonna be Death he'll never ever forget.
Never forget, he knows he'll never forget.
If he's gotta be Death he knows he'd rather forget,
What hearts of humans
What hearts of humans
What hearts of humans can feel.

Oh baby he's the only thing in this whole world
That's pure and always here.
And wherever you are and wherever you go,
The tunnel's gonna have some light.
But he's gotta get out,
she's gotta ride it out now,
Before the final crack of dawn.
So they've gotta make the most of their short time together
When it's over you know
They'll both be so alone

Like a bat out of hell
He'll be going for the final chord
When the night is over
Like a bat out of hell
He'll be there there there
Like a bat out of hell
He'll be going for the final chord
But when the deed is done and the soul is gone,
And the moonlight's shining through,
Then like a doorman before the gates of the after
He will do the Duty once more.

She can see the coach tearing down the road,
Horseless, plunging through a ricktey, useless fence
Fire explodes and a weel tumbles out
He's not gonna stop it now
She's gotta make him explain
She can't stop thinking of them
'Cause they never saw the sudden curve until 'twas was way too late.
They never saw the sudden curve 'till 'twas way too late.

They were dying at the bottom of a cliff in a blazing wreck
Parents gone and missed 'cause of casuality
And she thinks someone somewhere should have lifted a hand.
And the last thing he says to his heir,
Still asking, still asking,
Is "Yes I could have done something", she sees it then
Like a bat out of hell
Like a bat out of hell
Like a bat out of hell
Oh Like a bat out of hell!
Oh Like a bat out of hell!
Like a bat out of hell!
