She Aten't Dead Yet
(sung to 'She Ain't Pretty' by the Northern Pikes)

Weaver the Thatcher wandered throughout the land
You'd often find him with a bow in his hand.
One night he travelled just a little too far
Came to a cottage; the door was ajar.
The fire was cold, the house in disarray
Mistress Weatherwax looking cold and grey
He heard a voice beside him say
"She aten't dead yet, she just looks that way."
She aten't dead yet,
She aten't dead yet,
She aten't dead yet, she just looks that way.
She's with a weasel or a badger or bear
Or come to think about it, maybe a hare
One night it's owls, so she can fly through the trees
The only difficulty she has is bees.
Nothing can stop her; nothing gets in her way
Not even unicorns can spoil her day.
I shouldn't worry, so to you this I say:
"She aten't dead yet, she just looks that way."
She aten't dead yet,
She aten't dead yet,
She aten't dead yet, she just looks that way.
The Queen of Elves stands with a smile on her face
She thinks that she's put Granny into her place
She sees her lying there in front of her feet
But victory has a taste that's other than sweet.
Here's Shawn and Magrat come to help save the day
The Morris men and Greebo enter the fray.
The outcome's clear, but now once more I will say:
"She aten't dead yet, she just looks that way."
